Jennifer & Brian

September 16th 2017
Vintage Rose Barn: BETH AND JULIE ROCK!
Cake Design: Still getting information

ARC:WOW WHAT A DAY! Jennifer and Brian could not have had a more beautiful early fall/ late summer day to get married. We as a studio met Jennifer at our first bridal show back in January. We created a concept that focused on a simple yet romantic feel that would correlate with the beautiful venue they chose.
After developing Jennifer and Brian's concept we worked along side the brides mother who LOVES to gather antiques ( woman after our own hearts) and she contributed those special small touches that we incorporated with our inventory and they blended seamlessly.
One thing I love about Jennifer & Brian's decor was the fact that we used a contrasting color story of red and green. We used the rose version of red and then the greenery in the florals and garlands used throughout the space. This created that romantic feel that the couple was striving for.
We loved the mercury glass combined with the selective use of wood around the space. One of our favorite spots on the property to see completed was the ceremony space. We loved the old doors the barn provided along with the chandeliers that hung in the trees. The corn field made an amazing backdrop and created privacy for the party. Small touches of vintage furniture, adorable signs made by a family friend of the bride and the small details we were able to pull together worked out beautifully. P.S.... Dried Hydrangeas are just a beautiful as freshly cut ones. I loved that the Barn had a huge inventory of their own and we took advantage of it!!!

We had an amazing time getting ready for Jennifer and Brian's wedding and we are happy to be able to say it was a success from start to finish. Also a huge shout out to Julie and Beth at the Vintage Rose Barn in Gobles MI. They were amazing to work with and I hope to be able to again in the future. What an amazing piece of land and a beautiful place for a wedding!

I'd also like the thank my youngest helper for being my extra hands on this project. Gabi killed it this weekend making sure we got it right!
Cheers!
